Radha Damodar
Radha Damodar Temple is an ancient and important Hindu temple in Junagadh, Gujarat, dedicated to Damodar (a form of Lord Krishna) and his consort Goddess Radha. The central shrine houses the deity of Lord Krishna in his four-armed form of Vishnu along with Radha beside him.
The temple is built of pink sandstone and features intricate architectural details, including many pillars and carved structures. Adjacent to the temple are Damodar Kund and Revati Kund, sacred water tanks where devotees take holy baths with the belief that it cleanses sins and offers spiritual merit.
This temple is a significant pilgrimage site, especially during festivals like Janmashtami, Radhashtami, Holi, and Kartik Purnima. It is believed to date back to ancient times and was renovated during the reign of King Skand Gupta of the Gupta Empire
